「 what behind my shadow. 5:28 AM 」

Okay, my first attempt in writing some dota guide
disclamers: my way of playing may not be your way of playing and there are just as many way of playing this little fellow as the population number of the world X)
introducing the ultimate, most diabolic destroyer:
Pugna, The Oblivion,

/ Nether Ward
lvl 4 Decrepify
lvl 5 Nether Blast / Nether Ward

lvl 10 Nether Ward / Nether Blast
lvl 11 Life Drain
lvl 12-14 Nether Ward / Nether Blast
lvl 15 Stats
lvl 16 Life Drain
lvl 17-25 Stats

Explanation: the first build is pretty much self-explanatory, if you haven't even tried this little fellow here, here is the wholesale explanation.
lvl 4 Nether blast + lvl 4 Decrepify = 455 dmg (341 including magic resistance)
Up nether blast early is also one great way of pushing, down tower and rush in or just dealing great pain in others

Decrepify, other than using it to amplify the damage dealt for the skill spamming on the particular enemy hero, we can strategically use it on your allies or yourself if you are 1st, certain that the skills opponents use on you or your allies are not enough to rape you and your allies.

Furthermore, decrepify disables normal attack from opponent as well. Together with your life drain, it's a pain in the ass for almost every dps hero. For example, level 6, barathum has charged you and ultied you, straightaway decrepify him, blast and ulti. You may not kill him alone, but you have just saved your ass Together with another ally, like Zeus, you can easily decimate anyone, even the greatest tank in the game.

Next on, the second skill build

Uping nether ward is really an unique and uncommon way of adding skills but prove to be rather useful against spammers early and late. The use of nether ward can also mean another opportunity to escape, such as block the juking point so opponent cannot get through etc. etc.

Item build:
I wont post up pictures like others do because I am just too lazy

For typical pub game:
Core:
Dagon + Phase Boots + 2 Null Talisman + Bottle + 2 TP

Late:
Dagon + BKB + Phase Boots + 2 Null Talisman + Shiva

Explanation:
Dagon: playing with pubs does not really require much maneuvres, a dagon just improve the chance of killing and some KS probably.

Phase boots: it gives you the much needed armour and the ability to move through creeps to get to your blasting point. faster. Quite self-explanatory

TP: one of greatest, most epic maneuvre for pugna. Ever seen the decrepified pugna tp back home with the extreme hp in YouTube? That may not be the case all the time, but using TP is just as essential as killing opponents.

BKB: For the fact that you are as exceptionally paper or fragile to skills as you want others to be, a BKB gives you the much needed strength and the spell immunity.

Shiva: armour + mana + slow XD

In-house/Draft game:
Early/Mid:
Boots + 2 Bracers + Bottle + TP + Blink Dagger

Late:
Boots of Travel + 2 Bracers + Guinsoo + Blink Dagger + BKB

BKB: see first item build

Guinsoo: for eliminating one by one without much damage dealt to the whole team, find the late gamer or the ultimate spammers like es, zeus, lina, etc.

Boots of Travel: in a draft/in-house game, it's important to get to the gank as fast as possible, Boots of Travel allows whole map teleportation and the access to general ganks

Blink Dagger: sometimes you will realise that after you decrepify, you get fogged or blocked that you cannot get to the enemy hero fast enough to spam your skills, blink dagger allows you to get to the enemy heros faster/ get to a proper position to do everything you like, the reason is the same as Zeus.

Gameplay:
Early game
Pugna is generally versatile, you can either solo and survive a dual enemy lane or team up with a spammer BUT NEVER A DPS WITHOUT DAMAGING SKILLS, it will just spoil the whole purpose of you being there.

You have an incredible 4 int gain every level, which gives you the damage in your normal attack, thus, try keep your position at the range creep and oppress the opponent with your normal attack till half hp (it can be easily achieved =])

Decrepify + Blast + any other hero's skill if you are quite certain the opponent will die, or else, you may be the one dead :(

Use Nether Blast whenever you creeps are attacking the tower to get a tower advantage quickly.

Mid game
This is the time you are going to show them your full potential with your Nether Ward. Ward among the trees and slope whenever you are going to gank so as to deprove the enemy's chance in nuking your team to death (for most of the time, they die fast enough)

Late game
You may not be very useful in this time of the game for it's the time when the late gamers arises. However, couple up with your items and stuff, you can deal enough damage to heros for your late gamers to wipe them clean. Push as much as you can and bring your creep line all the way.

(Further amendments may follow suit later)
